Natural rubber (NR) mainly contains rubber hydrocarbon with a small amount of protein, water, resin acids, carbohydrates and inorganic salts, etc.. The advantages of NR are large flexibility, high elastic modulus and tear resistance and excellent electrical insulation, good abrasion resistance and drought tolerance, good adhesion,it is better than most synthetic rubber in in comprehensive performance. The disadvantage is that NR is bad in resistance to oxygen and ozone resistance, so it’s easy to be aging. And it’s of bad oil and solvent resistance, anti acid and alkali corrosion resistance is not good either.
Temperature range: about -60 ℃ ~80℃. It’s mainly used to make tires, rubber joints, rubber hose , rubber shoes, rubber belt, wire and cable insulation and sheath as well as other common products. Especially suitable for torsional vibration eliminator, engine shock absorbing products.
