General Features of BR

BR is commonly used in rubber joints producing. Just as other rubber material BR also has its advantages and disadvantages. Only with well knowing the feature of BR can we make best use of it.

Polybutadiene rubber (BR) is a kind of CIS structure rubber polymerized by polymerization. The advantages are: good elasticity and good wear resistance, good aging resistance, excellent resistance to low temperature, low heat under Dynamic load condition, easy to metal bonding. The shortage is: low strength&tear resistance, poor processability and poor adhesive.

Temperature range: about 60 ℃ ~100℃. Generally combined with natural rubber or styrene butadiene rubber, the main production of tire tread, transportation belt and special cold resistance products.
